About me

I'm Jamie. I build AI automation and internal tooling for businesses through my own consultancy, E10 Solutions, currently across two ongoing engagements and a run of one-off client builds. Alongside that I'm finishing an MEng in Automotive Engineering at the University of Warwick, after a placement year at Jaguar Land Rover working on vehicle crash simulations and structural analysis. This is my story so far.

Worked across digital outreach, SEO, and client management for a link-building and content agency. Managed relationships with over 100 clients, worked on functions end to end, and tested early AI workflows that optimised campaign performance and client outreach. Developed a strong foundation in understanding what clients actually need and how to communicate progress clearly, which has carried through into every project since.

University of Warwick
Studying MEng Automotive Engineering, predicted first class. The degree covers vehicle dynamics, CAD, structural analysis, and engineering simulation. In 3rd Year, I self-proposed and delivered VibroRegen, a piezoelectric energy harvesting project investigating whether vehicle suspension vibrations could be converted into usable electrical power. It involved MATLAB/Simulink modelling, four physical prototype iterations, and a full test programme. The project won the IMechE Best Project Award and I received the Year 3 Head of School Award. Returning in September 2026 for the final Master's year.

Jaguar Land Rover
Placement in the Structural Integration and Analysis team at Gaydon, completed in July 2026. Day-to-day work covered full-vehicle crash simulations, 3D CAD and mesh modelling using HyperMesh, CATIA, and Oasys (Primer and D3Plot), and cross-functional structural analysis to diagnose and resolve on-cycle issues. Held a significant role in a cost and weight reduction programme involving targeted material and design changes, which required retesting simulations for each iteration and coordinating decisions across engineering, NVH, package, and sealing teams.

E10 Solutions

My own consultancy, formalised in 2026 as E10 Solutions after a few years of freelance work. It's a solutions and automation consultancy: I build and integrate the systems businesses actually run on, and use AI where it genuinely adds value rather than by default. A lot of the work is straightforward automation for smaller businesses that want their day-to-day running with less friction. More on that at E10 Solutions.

One of the two ongoing engagements is with a search marketing agency, where I build their internal AI tooling: n8n pipelines that monitor the AI search landscape and feed a weekly digest to the team, and a LinkedIn scraping module covering around 200 companies. Alongside that sits one-off client work, including a live call ticket dashboard built for UltraVision Fire and Security that runs on a screen in their office.

Nimbus
Nimbus is an enterprise AI startup building a platform that maps a company's competitive landscape into a knowledge graph and binds that intelligence to real business processes. I work with the founding team on the commercial side of the product: analytics and attribution in GA4, organic search through Search Console, paid advert analysis and publication, and go-to-market automation for the free trial onboarding sequence. I'm also redesigning the signup flow to cut friction and lift conversion.

Consultancy work + final year at Warwick

The placement at JLR finished in July 2026. Since then most of my time has gone on client work through E10 Solutions: automation, internal tooling, analytics and search, split across two ongoing engagements and a run of one-off builds. In September I return to Warwick for the final year of my MEng, and the plan is to keep both engagements running part-time alongside it. The gap between automotive engineering and AI tooling is smaller than it looks: both involve designing systems, testing assumptions against reality, and iterating until something actually works.
